this is soliciting and violates the agreement here
anyone taking free puppies is often just gonna sell them to a lab or take to use for training pitt bulls to kill
a good owner would NEVER take a free pup -they would adopt from a shelter or get from a reputable breeder
are you going to screen people to see if they have fenced yard??
are you going to check to make sure the pup is being cared for
are you going to take pup back if it doesnt work out?
I suggest taking the pups to your local SPCA or humane society so they can properly rehome them

I myself received a free puppy today, and he is the best! In response to CF_ above, I would just like to say that most pet owners would not randomly hand out puppies to a random stranger.
In defense of thekid, I feel that it is great to try to find homes for puppies by offering them to people who show some interest in the species (i.e.- by posting in the dog Q&A section of yahoo *where concerned/knowledged pet owners network*….as opposed to widely advertising them through a newspaper *to persons who may be interested in lab work*).
Secondly, potential owners can e-mail thekid in reference to the puppy. From here, he can discuss living arrangements that will be made for the dog and et cetera.
Not all people are bad people, and not all people are good as well. In the case of my puppy, I saved him from having to go to my local Humane Society shelter… and I believe the last vet we spoke to said that they are almost out of room and cannot shelter puppies. He didn’t go into detail of what happens to them, but with an answer like that, I didn’t want to ask further.
If someone wants to provide a loving home to a puppy–whether they are paying for the puppy or not–I think that it’s a great thing. Not all puppies have to be from a breeder, and not all puppies have to cost hundreds of dollars. Some puppies aren’t really planned, but welcomed on arrival!
Good luck in finding loving homes for your three pups!

You Go CF!
Never, Never offer your pet “Free to a good home”. The world is teaming with research nappers, abusers, hoarders, torturers, profiteers, predators and sexual sadists looking to self-gratify.
Yeah, there are good folks out there, but only a fool would blindly trust a world of strangers not required to show proof of honorable intentions toward a defenseless puppy.
puppyowner, would you allow a stranger to care for your child just to prove that most folks are good? Doesn’t work that way. Folks have to show a proven historical track record for responsibility and honesty…. to banks, businesses, employers, childcare agencies. Many no kill animal shelters, rescue organizations and pet sanctuaries operate by the same rules and requirements.
Adoption for these puppies requires you to be responsible and committed to giving them their best shot for a great and safe forever home. Contact reputable organizations or groups with the experience and knowledge for responsible placement of companion animals.
