Loading ...Does non-us version N95 GPS work in USA?
Hi guys,
I’ve got a big dilemma choosing a new cellphone for myself. Im thinking about Nokia N95, my brother living in Indonesia wants to give it as my birthday gift, my question is.. Does Indonesian N95 (Asia Pacific Version probably) GPS work in USA? Because its preloaded by ASIA PACIFIC map, and actually USA maps can be downloaded from nokia official website for free. So, i just wanna make sure that the gps will work in USA after downloading the USA map. I live in Russellville, Arkansas.

yes if you have gps reciever it will

Yes it will work.
But as you say, you need to get the Map Loader software from Nokia’s website and download the US maps you need.
As I recall, the US maps are split up by state, so just get the ones you need because otherwise you’re gonna use a heck of a lot of memory up loading the whole of the US onto it.
