I stored several items at a friends house and she disposed of them withouth notifying me. Is this legal in AR?

I would like to sue my ex-friend in small claims court for disposing of my property that I had stored in her basement. She never notified me prior to disposing of the property. I live in Arkansas. Are there any attorneys that could advise as to whether I have a right to sue her? Thanks.
The value is well over $1,000. Some of the items I can not place a value on as they are sentimental. Anyone know of the law in AR? I feel sure that I could win in small claims court as I have witnesses that I could subpoena to testify that the items were left there, but I don’t know if AR law says she has the right to dispose of the items because they were left on her property. Thanks.

  1. Forget it. You won’t win.

  3. If that is really the case and there was no relationship involved . The value ? Small claims court is not that hard of a course to take . If it had no real value , move on .

  4. More or less, it is a roll of the dice in small claims court.
