I’m entering college as a freshman in the fall, and my roommate is going to be from there and I don’t want to be rude and be like “Hey, what color are you?” Color isn’t a problem for me…I was just curious.

It’s Arkansas. Arkansas is mainly dominated by white Supremacists. The KKK still resides their and is fully active. Unfortunately they even have the support of the local authorities in most areas. I know, I used to live there.
