i think the PSP is already very popular being the best portable gamin device out there + it is a compressed ps2 + with multitasking abilities (music,movies,internet,wi-fi)ithink it is an electronic swiss army knife sort of thing.
I own it and I love it, if you have movies on your hard drive you can put them on a memory card and music and pictures too, it’s wireless and you can play games and watch UMD movies it’s the only hand-held app. you need. They have 2gig cards now, that’s enough for a few movies and plenty of music
PSP will last until sony comes out with something newer and better. And most likely the new system will be backward compatible with the PSP software. I don’t see that happening anytime soon, but just like everything else that has to do with electronics. Its outdated the day it hits the shelves.
