- that he SHOULD be a man and take responsibility. That said, I want to know why people are so outraged by the idea that a man is going to court because he dont wanna pay child support on a child he had with a woman he didnt want to be with. Why is it that only a woman gets the final choice on whether she keeps the baby? Granted, she has to carry the child inside her and then deliver it- but its usually the man who ends up paying (if he is responsible) for the rest of his life (and yes, even beyond the age of 18)-I do not understand why people dont see the principle, rather than the emotional opinion! Just because thats the way it has been-dont make it right.I get sick of the
There are many many woman that lie to men and say they are on birth control, but when the baby is born- they expect the man to support it. Most of the time, THOSE women use the support for things other than the baby. I know there are cases (many) where the support dont nearly pay for the expenses, but there ar
plenty of cases where the support is more than enough.I get sick of the BS about “well he shouldnt have had sex?” BUT THEN NEITHER should she have! It should work both ways, but it dont. If abortion is going to be legal, then both parties should either get a say in it- or only the one who wants the child she take responsibility. I know this sucks for the kid- but if people want equality, then they should take the good with the bad!!! Who cares if it is the womans body that has to go through the abortion- I mean, it never stops THEM when they make that choice, right? I personally would take responsibility, and think men should- but I dont think it should be a law, because that isnt equal rights for men. You say too bad for men, but it shouldnt be all up to one of the guilty party. BOTH should have a say in it.
I mean, the only way to have fairness in the law- is to outlaw abortion altogether! (now there’s an idea!)
ophelia, I agree with you- BUT what if the man WANTS to keep the child and even without her support, on his own- but she chooses to abort the kid anyways? Thats kinda my point- a man has NO rights when it comes to a pregnancy- whatsoever
