I’m a senior in high school from Texas, I am Hispanic if that makes a difference as well. I need help as to which universities I can get into and what not. My GPA is a 3.7 = 93. I take mostly all AP and dual credit, and PAP when AP were not provided. I am not in the top 10% of my class. My high school is a top notch public school and is extremely competitive. The cutoff is 53 and I am ranked in the 70s. My SAT scores are from the middle of Junior year, and I am going to retake them in November. 520 Math, 560 Comprehension, 540 Writing (didn’t study). I am in National Honors Society, National Spanish Honor Society, play in the Orchestra, play basketball and rugby as well.
The perspective schools I am considering are
Texas Tech University (Visited already, and going for University Day)
Arizona State University(Have not visited, but receive many booklets)
Texas Christian University(Have not visited, but receive many booklets)
Baylor University(Have not visited, applied already. They waived the $50 application fee, and the required essay)
University of Alabama(Have not visited, but receive many booklets)
University of Miami(Have not visited, but I had an interview sophomore, and junior year with a representative, and am having one again, also they have already sent me an application)
University of Arkansas(Have not visited, but receive many booklets
Any suggestions or input about how my chances are would be greatly appreciated. I am just scared I won’t get accepted into any of the schools I want. So once again any input would be greatly appreciated.
and BTW I already use collegeboard.com and I have checked many websites concerning these Universities

I am not a city kind of girl. I live in a very nice suburb BUBBLE northwest of Houston, and i do not like the atmosphere (especially the people). My grandparents own ranches in Wyoming, and i am in love witht he place. Which is why I applied to University of Wyoming, I also recieve an alumni tuition which is cheap for college!!! However, I am scared to death of the winters, but maybe i am building it up worse in my head. I just dont want to be cold all the time. Next, I really like Texas Tech, and my brother goes there. Lubbock is rural-ish and i like that, but the large student population is a little scary. I am also planning on applying to Oklahoma State University, because I like that state as well, my grandmother owns a farm there. I would apply to Oklahoma University as well (especially bc my grandparents went there) but unlike OSU (so i’ve heard) it does not havve a deal with texas for a cheaper tuition. I also applied to LSU, but my brother tells me it’s kinda trashy there. So that narrows me down to UW, Tx Tech, OSU,maybe OU
I want to explore though. It is already janurary though! (btw- do i not have a good chance if i apply a couple wks before the deadline)?????!
Ive always been interested in states like alabama, arkansas, mississippi, kansas, idaho, orgeon, georgia….
but im assuming these will all be outrageously expensive. right? anny suggestions? thanks so much!!
Also- I am planning to bring my horse to wherever I go
