I have the Buffalo Terastation 1TB version: http://www.buffalo-asia.com/cgi-bin/products/detail.cgi?country=ar&code=2&id=46
I’ve set up the Terastation using the accompanying CD-ROM and when I 1st started it up I could see the drive and move files into the NAS’s folders. Since then (a few days ago) i can’t seem to reconnect to the NAS. I can see it in my network under the right workgroup but every time I double-click it it says I don’t have the right access privelages which is weird as I’ve logged in as an administrator (and I’m the only user on my home network). I’ve tried restarting both the NAS and my own computer and it’s the same issue. When I look under the Terastion Browser Management utility I can see the users who have should have access to the drive as well as IP address of the NAS and all of that. Under the Status Summary it says no users connected to it. I have added my exact same user name from Windows into the Browser management tool. Should I just map the IP address as a network drive or is that a bad way of doing it? Am at a lost as to what esle to try.
