Thank you for the insight and perspective. I hope a lot of people read what you’ve written, so they can better make up their own minds.
Just as President Bush’s every move is not that of the American people, it is good to understand that Admadinejhad’s will is not necessarily the will if Iranians. The problem for all of us to get our rulers to listen to the people, something the power-seekers don’t think they need to do.

Don’t kid yourself, this is a bunch of propaganda and crap. Amenajab has called for Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth. There is no mistaking the desire for an “islamic bomb” to destroy the Israelis and Americans in the region. Thinking they wouldn’t use such a weapon, is absurd.
When you can be serious and admit that your “president” wants to destroy israel with his new toy, then you’ll get somewhere. Until then, all the talk about how progressive and enlightened and innocent your society is, is total crap.

You have done well in stating your point of view. I lived in an Islamic country for a year and relate to some of what you say.
It could have been briefer with a link to read your entire article. While I read the whole thing most people would get tired about the second or third paragraph and quit reading.
Don’t think that because I say I can relate to what you say that I agree with it entirely. I do not.
So while I compliment you on your ability to express yourself in English I do not compliment you entirely on what you say. In America we value freedom of speech and so I am going to say that while I may disagree with some of what you say I will defend your right to say it. Democracy depends on a dialog of many opinions and dissent. We are a democracy even though you are not in Iran despite the freedoms you say you have. May Allah/God bless us all and bring us all peace.

David as always i read every thing you tell us.may i make a suggestion? i know you are trying to reach out and let us know the truth of your country and i think this is fantastic,but to reach americans you may want to make your statements to us a little briefer.LOL we do not have great attention spans.keep going my dear .peace to you!
