I lived in an Islamic country for a year and relate to some of what you say. It could have been briefer with a link to read your entire article. While I read the whole thing most people would get tired about the second or third paragraph and quit reading. Don't think that because I say I can relate to what you say that I agree with it entirely. I do not. So while I compliment you on your ability to express yourself in English I do not compliment you entirely on what you say. In America we value freedom of speech and so I am going to say that while I may disagree with some of what you say I will defend your right to say it. Democracy depends on a dialog of many opinions and dissent. We are a democracy even though you are not in Iran despite the freedoms you say you have.
